Pathway to Purpose is Rivers in the Desert, Inc.’s school-year mentorship program designed to support low-income youth in Lake County, Illinois by helping students develop confidence, character, life skills, and a positive vision for their future.

Through consistent mentorship and supportive activities, students are encouraged to recognize their strengths, set goals, make positive decisions, and build healthy relationships. The program focuses on social-emotional growth, communication skills, decision-making, and critical thinking and problem-solving through meaningful discussions and hands-on activities. Students are supported as they explore their purpose, discover their potential, and prepare for future educational and career opportunities.
